Volunteer With Us

What We Do

Volunteers are a crucial part of our work. Through our relationships with corporate partners and volunteer organizations across the state, our volunteers help us to expand our impact to further our mission. Volunteers provide support to students in the Metro Atlanta area through the following:

FAFSA Completion
Support students completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Scholarship Power Hours
Through our partnership with Georgia GEAR UP, TSA conducts 55-min “Power Hour” sessions to increase financial aid literacy to high school students across 12 counties in the Metro-Atlanta area.
Virtual Scholarship Center
The Virtual Scholarship Center is an online tool we provide students access to tailored local, state, and national scholarship opportunities. This allows us to increase their financial aid knowledge through interactive lessions as well as provide virtual assistance with scholarship applications and essays.
Scholarship Boot Camps
Our half-day boot camps assist students with developing a 4-year college funding plan, strategics on how to research local, state, and national scholarships, as well as how to increase their scholarship eligibility through defining their “scholarship brand” and the science of competitive writing for scholarship applications.
