\nIn our continuing efforts to support higher education and community involvement, Make A Difference Foundation, Inc.(MADF) established the Charlotte Lemons Annual Student Scholarship (C.L.A.S.S.) award. This scholarship is intended to give students in need of financial assistance, the opportunity to further their education at a two-year or four-year college or technical institution. Each year, a $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to graduating high school seniors from Georgia and Florida. To be considered for this scholarship, the candidate must:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Be a U.S. Citizen
\n\u2022 Be a graduating high school senior
\n\u2022 Be determined by the school to have a financial need
\n\u2022 Have a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 2.5 or better
\n\u2022 Provide a copy of the SAT or ACT score with application
\n\u2022 Complete a 1-2 page essay (Application will state essay topic)
\n\u2022 Provide a brief personal statement of financial need
\n\u2022 Submit one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or organization leader (Pastor, Employer, etc.)<\/p>\n
